{"id":4197,"date":"2026-02-18T10:36:15","date_gmt":"2026-02-18T10:36:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/speedwayhub.com\/?p=4197"},"modified":"2026-02-18T10:36:15","modified_gmt":"2026-02-18T10:36:15","slug":"redcar-to-cap-british-grand-prix-weekend-with-british-under-21-final","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/speedwayhub.com\/redcar-to-cap-british-grand-prix-weekend-with-british-under-21-final\/","title":{"rendered":"Redcar to cap British Grand Prix weekend with British Under-21 Final"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Redcar will round off a huge weekend of action by hosting the British Under-21 Final at the ECCO Arena on Sunday, June 7 (7.30pm).<\/p>\n<p>The prestigious national showpiece \u2013 featuring the country\u2019s leading young talents \u2013 follows directly on from the two-night FIM Grand Prix of Manchester at Belle Vue on the Friday and Saturday, making it a standout few days for British speedway fans.<\/p>\n<p>A new British Under-21 Champion is guaranteed to be crowned this year, with double winner Sam Hagon \u2013 victorious in 2024 and 2025 \u2013 now moving beyond the age limit for the competition.<\/p>\n<p>Among the eight seeded riders already confirmed are last season\u2019s third-place finisher Luke Harrison and fellow 2025 finalist Will Cairns. The seedings have been determined using Championship averages from the previous campaign.<\/p>\n<p>The home club will be represented by Ace Pijper and Jody Scott, while Ben Trigger \u2013 set to race for Middlesbrough in the National Development League \u2013 is also included.
