The Norfolk-born racer, heading into his seventeenth year in British speedway, remains a key figure as the club sets its sights on defending both titles.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to the Poole Pirates website, Kerr said: <em>\u201cI\u2019m pleased to be back at Poole for 2026. I loved every minute with the club last season and finally achieved my main goal of winning the league \u2014 something I had never done before. I\u2019ve got a lot more to offer, so I\u2019m excited for what\u2019s ahead.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Promoter Dan Ford also told the club website he expects Kerr to continue making a major impact: <em>\u201cLewi\u2019s a rider we firmly believe has plenty left in the tank. He returns on a low average, but we all saw what he\u2019s capable of \u2014 especially at the end of last season when he delivered some outstanding performances. If he can maintain that level consistently, he\u2019ll make a mockery of his average in 2026.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Kerr was a model of reliability throughout 2025, appearing in every meeting and racking up more than 440 race points plus 29 bonus points, with 101 unbeaten rides from 239 starts.
