{"id":3095,"date":"2024-11-18T09:03:59","date_gmt":"2024-11-18T09:03:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/speedwayhub.com\/?p=3095"},"modified":"2024-11-20T09:04:14","modified_gmt":"2024-11-20T09:04:14","slug":"leicester-lions-bring-in-kyle-howarth-for-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/speedwayhub.com\/leicester-lions-bring-in-kyle-howarth-for-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Leicester Lions bring in Kyle Howarth for 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Leicester Lions have moved to bring Kyle Howarth back to the club after a previous spell as captain in the second tier.<\/p>\n<p>Howarth has left ROWE Motor Oil Premiership rivals Sheffield having been associated with the Owlerton side since 2016, and now slots in for the Lions where he rode at Championship level in 2021-22.<\/p>\n<p>Manager Stewart Dickson said: <em>\u201cWe knew a little while back that Kyle would most probably be moving on, and Leicester as far as I know was certainly his first choice, he was on the \u2018phone to me asking to be kept in touch, he was looking for a change and Sheffield were looking to go in a different direction as well.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cHe had good times with us last time he was at Leicester, we finished well clear at the top of the league ahead of Glasgow and Poole in 2022, and he seems to enjoy the track.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI know what I\u2019m going to get from him, which is 100 per cent effort, and he\u2019s also a good rider to have in the pits as well which I\u2019m mindful of.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cHe knows how I work, so there will be no surprises for any of us, and the two of us are very keen to strike up the relationship again.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Words and Image by British Speedway<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Leicester Lions have moved to bring Kyle Howarth back to the club after a previous spell as captain in the second tier.
