{"id":3079,"date":"2024-11-15T13:04:49","date_gmt":"2024-11-15T13:04:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/speedwayhub.com\/?p=3079"},"modified":"2024-11-19T13:05:23","modified_gmt":"2024-11-19T13:05:23","slug":"max-fricke-to-skipper-leicester-lions-again-in-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/speedwayhub.com\/max-fricke-to-skipper-leicester-lions-again-in-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Max Fricke to skipper Leicester Lions again in 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Leicester Lions captain Max Fricke will remain with the club for the 2025 season in the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership.<\/p>\n<p>Australian star Fricke, who also returns to the Grand Prix series full-time in 2025, has signed on for a third year at Beaumont Park having led the Lions to the Grand Final this autumn.<\/p>\n<p>Manager Stewart Dickson said: <em>\u201cI\u2019m very happy that Max has committed to a third season with Leicester, and I think he\u2019s feeling at home here now.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cHe\u2019ll come back and lead the side again, and I don\u2019t think there was any real danger that it wasn\u2019t going to happen because he\u2019s pretty loyal and that works both ways.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cHe\u2019s fairly easy to deal with and seems to like the way the club is run, and he also takes an interest in what I\u2019m doing with the rest of the team, and we\u2019re happy to have that input from him.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI think it\u2019s also good for Leicester commercially that Max is in the GPs again next season, and we have a GP rider leading the team.
