{"id":2967,"date":"2024-11-05T07:12:46","date_gmt":"2024-11-05T07:12:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/speedwayhub.com\/?p=2967"},"modified":"2024-11-08T07:13:09","modified_gmt":"2024-11-08T07:13:09","slug":"ipswich-witches-bring-back-dan-thompson-for-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/speedwayhub.com\/ipswich-witches-bring-back-dan-thompson-for-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Ipswich Witches bring back Dan Thompson for 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Ipswich Witches have confirmed Dan Thompson will be back in their colours next year as he steps out of the Rising Star berth.<\/p>\n<p>Thompson, who made the move to Foxhall from Leicester, will start the 2025 ROWE Motor Oil Premiership campaign at No.6 for the Witches to form a strong lower-order combination with Jordan Jenkins.<\/p>\n<p>He said: <em>\u201cIt\u2019s given me a bit of continuity going into next year, I joined halfway through 2023 so this will be almost my third season with the club. It is definitely a good club to be a part of and it was an easy decision.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cAll the people around Ipswich, Chris (Louis) and Ritchie (Hawkins), the fans make it a great club. It is a difficult track but learning it every week has brought me on as a rider and individual, and another year will only benefit me.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI want to try and win some silverware with Ipswich; I missed out on the Knockout Cup trophy when we won that through injury.
