{"id":1920,"date":"2024-03-11T13:03:46","date_gmt":"2024-03-11T13:03:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/speedwayhub.com\/?p=1920"},"modified":"2024-03-11T13:03:46","modified_gmt":"2024-03-11T13:03:46","slug":"charles-wright-ready-and-raring-to-go","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/speedwayhub.com\/charles-wright-ready-and-raring-to-go\/","title":{"rendered":"Charles Wright ready and raring to go!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>OXFORD Spires newcomer Charles Wright says he is in good shape for the start of the season after serious injury curtailed his 2023 campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Wright missed Belle Vue\u2019s play-off semi-final defeat after the smash in Poland, and has now moved on to join the Spires after spending the last three years with the Aces.<\/p>\n<p>And he will have an early start to 2024 racing as Oxford launch their Premiership campaign at home to Birmingham on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Wright said: <em>\u201cI\u2019ve had a couple of practice sessions at Workington and Belle Vue and feel ready to go.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cObviously the end to last season was far from ideal, but my body feels good and all the equipment is prepped for Wednesday\u2019s first practice.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt has been a race against time to get fit. I\u2019ve had to train hard behind the scenes which has required a lot of determination and willpower, but I\u2019ve used my knowledge from working with good people previously to push myself on.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt\u2019s good we\u2019ll have the opportunity to get out on track ahead of Birmingham\u2019s visit.
