{"id":1914,"date":"2024-03-11T09:47:26","date_gmt":"2024-03-11T09:47:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/speedwayhub.com\/?p=1914"},"modified":"2024-03-11T09:47:26","modified_gmt":"2024-03-11T09:47:26","slug":"the-championship-all-to-race-for","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/speedwayhub.com\/the-championship-all-to-race-for\/","title":{"rendered":"The Championship &#8211; All to Race For!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BRITISH Speedway chairman Rob Godfrey believes the Cab Direct Championship is set to offer a hugely competitive product this season.<\/p>\n<p>Glasgow will defend the second-tier title, with the league this year also featuring newcomers Workington, and official business gets underway with the opening BSN Series fixtures over Easter with Godfrey\u2019s own Scunthorpe team in action.<\/p>\n<p>He said: <em>\u201cPeople will say there are some stand-out teams, but I was tipping Plymouth because of their strength at reserve prior to (Nico) Covatti getting injured.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cUntil the season has started off and we\u2019ve got a few results under our belts, I don\u2019t think you\u2019re going to see a clear team out there that\u2019s going to win.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI think it\u2019s going to be a lot closer than it has been.
