{"id":1730,"date":"2024-02-22T12:07:01","date_gmt":"2024-02-22T12:07:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/speedwayhub.com\/?p=1730"},"modified":"2024-02-22T12:07:01","modified_gmt":"2024-02-22T12:07:01","slug":"german-international-erik-riss-to-ride-in-the-kyle-howarth-testimonial","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/speedwayhub.com\/german-international-erik-riss-to-ride-in-the-kyle-howarth-testimonial\/","title":{"rendered":"German international Erik Riss to ride in the Kyle Howarth Testimonial"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>GERMAN international Erik Riss is the next rider to be added to Kyle Howarth\u2019s Testimonial line-up at Owlerton next month.<\/p>\n<p>The two-time World Long Track Champion, who rode for Ipswich and Redcar last year, joins Fredrik Lindgren, Tobiasz Musielak, Niels-Kristian Iversen, Rory Schlein and Simon Lambert on the Rest of the World side who will be facing Sheffield on Thursday, March 14 (7.30).<\/p>\n<p>And with the 28-year-old currently without a team spot in the UK for the forthcoming campaign, Howarth hopes Riss will be able to remind other promoters what he\u2019s capable of.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cErik suffered last season with injury and illness and is looking to find his way back in the sport,\u201d Howarth said.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cHe is as fast and stylish as anyone on his day and we have had some great battles over the past few years.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI would like nothing more than seeing him back to his best really soon.
