British Speedway has announced its Championship sponsorship deal with Cab Direct has been extended to incorporate the 2024 Knockout Cup.<\/p>\n
The UK\u2019s top taxi supplier gave their backing to the league competition in 2023, which proved to be a highly successful and beneficial arrangement for both parties and is continuing into the new season.<\/p>\n
Now the KO Cup at Championship level will also receive full Cab Direct support as Scunthorpe defend the silverware they secured in a dramatic Final against Poole last October.<\/p>\n
Cab Direct Marketing Director, Donald Pow, commented: \u201cIt\u2019s a natural progression to extend our sponsorship to the Championship Knockout Cup.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cIt was an excellent first year for Cab Direct with the Championship and our brand awareness because of speedway expanded.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cSpeedway and Cab Direct remain a perfect fit. Speedway has thousands of loyal fans across the UK and Cab Direct has thousands of loyal taxi drivers and operators.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s set to be another very exciting season ahead in British speedway and we\u2019re delighted to be part of it again.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n The opening meetings in the 2024 Cab Direct KO Cup feature holders Scunthorpe, who host Plymouth on Friday April 12 before heading to Devon for the return fixture the following evening.
